The Council for the Safety of AI (CSOAI) today announced the launch of its sovereign AI governance substrate, with 22 Founding Council members ratifying the CSOAI Charter at 09:00 BST. The launch is the culmination of 14 months of development that began with CSOAI's constitution as a UK standards body.

The Substrate

CSOAI's sovereign substrate runs on independent infrastructure — M4 Mac + GCP VM — not Big Tech. The Architecture
